Events
As a seaside village, Kato Vasiliki is first of all well known for its Sardene Festival. On the 6th of August every summer a large festival takes place and attracts many visitors from all over Greece. Of course the main attraction here is grilled sardene along with endless music and dance.
And for the more adventurous amongst us, there is also the infamous Limnopoula Beach summer party! An event that takes place at the gorgeous beach Limnopoula where the party is held literally on the beach and involves music, dance, drinks, bonfire and even swimming!
Activities
Anything you could expect from a seaside village in the magnificent Greek countryside!
Hiking is a great option. Kato Vasiliki is a village that combines sea, plains and a bit of hill and mountain so you can really choose your path. You can walk by the sea or select a challenging mountain trail where you can also visit archaeological sites such as Tapia or Agia Triada.
Fishing is another amazing activity if you are a fan or if you want to have some stress-free time for yourself.
Photography, bird watching, star gazing, beachcombing and anything that allows to spend your time being in the moment.
Or simply just get outside, blow the cobwebs away, breathe deeply. Bliss!
